Popularly known as “The Bronx Bombers” or “The Yanks” the team, has been fan favorites for well over a century now and have a record … brace yourself … 27 World Series Titles with the most recent win coming in 2009 after the Yanks beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4 games to 2 to clinch the coveted title of champions.

The Yankees are renowned for featuring some of the finest talent from the world of baseball. The team is constantly looking to sign the “hottest” player around in an effort to strengthen their squad and to get a couple more wins under their belt. The upcoming 2013 is already gearing up to be an exciting season which will feature the nation’s most promising talent.

Here’s a look at some of the finest Yankees prospects for the 2013 season which have the fans excited and lined up on TicketVistas to buy New Yankees Tickets:

Adam Warren

Warren has the possibility of being 2013’s version of Phelps.

Last year in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Warren posted a 3.71 ERA in 26 starts and threw two complete games.

Yet, in his debut start in the Bronx, Warren only threw 2.1 innings and gave up six runs before quickly being sent back down to Triple-A.

As this pitching staff continues to age—and Ivan Nova and Phil Hughes continue to be inconsistent—Warren may be getting his chance this year.

Mark Montgomery

Josh Norris/Yankee Analysts

In just two years, Montgomery has jumped through the Yankee farm system after playing for Staten Island in 2011 and finishing 2012 in Trenton.

At only 22 years old, he is a promising relief pitcher with a plus slider.

In 15 appearances for Trenton last year, Montgomery posted a 1.88 ERA and struck out 38 batters, while only walking six.

The Yankees could definitely use a younger pitcher on their squad who could be Montgomery.
